LONDON, March 15, 2016— Tudor England just became a bit more digital as Tudor Times, a UK repository of information on the Tudor and Stewart period, has teamed up with the Renaissance English History Podcast, a leading history podcast, to create original content.
Starting in April, each Tudor Times Person of the Month will be featured on the Renaissance English History Podcast, and the two organizations will work together to bring even more content to a new format.
“Partnering with Tudor Times gives my listeners an easy way to learn more about the period after listening to the podcast. The content on the website is so complete and thorough, that it just makes sense to send my listeners there,” said Heather Teysko, the creator of the Renaissance English History Podcast.
“Branching out into audio offers yet another dimension to learning about the Tudor period. We want to reach as many people as possible, and embracing podcasting will open us up to a new audience, as well as offering our existing readers yet another way to learn,” added Deborah Roil, from Tudor Times.
This partnership brings together the research and content of Tudor Times with the audio editing and podcasting know how of the Renaissance English History Podcast. Both bring a unique skill set, and it will be exciting to see what content they create.
The Renaissance English History Podcast (https://www.englandcast.com) was created in 2009, and is now a leading indie history podcast. It works to bring all aspects of Renaissance England to life with a special focus on social history.
Tudor Times (http://www.tudortimes.co.uk) was set up in 2014 to be a repository of everything about the period from 1485 – 1625, primarily in Britain, but also looking at European influences.
