| Hello friend! I’m so glad you decided to buy a Streaming Ticket for Tudorcon 2025! Even though you won’t be there in person, I trust that the weekend will be fun, educational, and filled with new friendships. Here are some details to know. First thing – we’ll be using Zoom for all the talks. If you don’t already have Zoom, you can download it on your device at Zoom.us/download Here is a basic tutorial on how to use Zoom: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pAMDxH_H_Cs I’ll be sending the links to the different Zoom meeting rooms the day before Tudorcon Online starts, on October 3. Make sure you check your spam and bulk email folders if you don’t see them! The “Community” side of Tudorcon Online takes place in my free network, the Tudor Learning Circle. It’s kind of like any other social media network, but just for Tudor nerds. As we get closer to the weekend, I’ll be sending out the links to participate there. That group is where all of the video links will be, where all of the conversation will be happening, and will be the general “hub” of the event. WELCOME BAG and Zoom Links We will send the Zoom links and Welcome bag links as we get closer to Tudorcon itself. For now, please make yourself welcome in the Group, and we’ll be in there getting to know everyone as Tudorcon weekend approaches! If you want to enter the Costume or Tattoo Contest, please send me a photo of your dress/outfit or your Tattoo so I can post it in the group. On the Friday night welcome party we will give everyone a chance to show off their dresses and say a few words about them if you like, but I also want to have the photos so we can see the detail, and also in case anyone’s internet goes out. You can email me the photos at StreamingTudorcon@TudorFair.com. Finally, I will be posting the final schedule and links in that Tudorcon group, so make sure you’re in there. I’ll also send you an email a few days before with the final schedule and links. If you need help with anything, email help@tudorfair.com and we’ll get back to you ASAP.
